Wimbledon: Defending champion Andy Murray ousted in straight sets

French Open runner-up Simona Halep reached the Wimbledon semifinals with a 6-4, 6-0 victory over Sabine Lisicki of Germany on Wednesday at London. The third-seeded Romanian won the final 11 games and next faces Eugenie Bouchard of Canada, who beat No. 9 Angelique Kerber of Germany 6-3, 6-4, a day after Kerber upset fifth-seeded Maria Sharapova.Halep needed only 57 minutes to advance after trailing, thanks to 20 unforced errors by Lisicki, the 19th seed.
